LA TERZA DOMENICA DI QUARESIMA CI INVITA A LEGGERE LA NOSTRA STORIA COME STORIA DI SALVEZZA CHE DIO FA PERSONALMENTE CON OGNUNO. IL DIO PRESENTE NELLA NOSTRA VITA, E' UN DIO CHE AGISCE DA PADRE E SI FA CONOSCERE MAN MANO CHE SALVA, FA GRAZIA, PERDONA E AMMAESTRA CHI SA ASCOLTARE. IL GUAIO STA NEL FATTO CHE L'ALBERO CHA HA PIANTATO IN NOI NON PORTA IL FRUTTO DOVUTO E SPESSO FA SOLO FOGLIE AGITATE DAL VENTO. BUONA SETTIMANA

Un tale aveva un fico piantato
nella vigna, venne a cercarvi frutti
ma non ne trovò (Lc 13,6).

was called to feed the beauty of creation.
Fico verdant
contains within it the flavor and sweetness of the kingdom of heaven
offered to those thirsting for love.
The world is waiting for you to enjoy the fruits of that tree
promised, offered to peace
of broken-hearted and do not find something that satisfies.
The mystery of creation rejected:
not more prosperous Eden
ma terra devastata dal male
da quando l’uomo ha peccato.
A fatica e a prezzo di sangue
è stato riscattato il Giardino,
per piantarvi di nuovo l’albero della vita
e richiamare l’uomo dalla sua peregrinazione.
E noi siamo il germoglio del Signore,
piantato nella casa di Dio, fico di speranza
per portare frutti di dolcezza all’uomo
che attende il Salvatore del mondo.
Anche i nostri padri migrarono
verso la Terra promessa, giardino del riscatto;
ma senza portare frutto a causa
del cuore perverso e mormoratore.
E caddero nel deserto senza entrare nel riposo.
Ora c’è un altro time for hope:
nourished by the Word of salvation
that flower and bear abundant fruit.
lush trees of the cross, our sins
fertilized, planted in the heart
man who believes in love,
full of fruits of eternal life.
crucified Christ will bear fruit for the future:
rooted in the soul of man who believes in love.
Christ crucified is the fruit of love.
