The beginning of Lent offers us a new opportunity: to experience God's grace with the victory over every form of evil, to experience that sin has no hold on us. This is the work of salvation for excellence.
The Lord your God, you'll love:
to worship Him alone

The man goes zonzolando
of life on the streets without knowing the 'port
to find the repose of the soul.
Anxiety and anguish in the hearts meander
slaves of solitude while
In the bustle of everyday
Frenetic, pursuing the unattainable.
screw projected on rough ridges
not see the top, absurd stories,
valuations of foolish things
without merit: just do something .. All
call them ideals,
reasons for being, noble goals, culture and instead
temptations are sinking into the abyss of the claims.
enough bread and circuses;
not sufficient for a successful life, unaware
provocations that make the ultimate destiny of man.
called to eternal life after death,
we can not live or die because we
già morti, sepolti
dai desideri impossibili di gloria.
Non di solo pane, non di solo mutuo,
non di sola fantasia vivrà l’uomo
perché regna l’oscurità che copre
il quotidiano di ombre senza sole.
Non provocare Dio perché diventi
il servetto dei necessitosi
perché i suoi disegni sono altri
sull’uomo, la vita e l’eternità.
Pròstrati davanti a Lui, l’Unico
il Santo, il Dio diverso,
il Figlio dell’uomo diverso
e adora la sua presenza nel mondo.
L’uomo Gesù lo fa presente
vincendo il seduttore, rifiuta il pane
di pietra e offre il pane fragrante
della sua carne dato in cibo per noi.
Risponde al tentatore con la Parola
di verità, non con la bocca riarsa;
rifiuta la ricerca del prodigioso
ed entra nella morte con la sua povertà.
Lo Spirito eterno, che lo ha condotto
nel deserto, gli dà la sapienza del cuore
e interrompe la filiera dell’inganno
che da sempre domina l’uomo.
Accetta l’umiliazione e adora il Padre
compiendo la legge dell’amore;
questo il segno che anche tu vinci
con Lui: l’amore donato agli uomini.
La Pasqua è vicina!
