Svegliati tu che dormi il sonno dell’ignaro,
alza gli occhi e guarda in alto,
cerca la luce della vita che non finisce,
scruta i segni del tempo presente.

Fin che non nasce in me un’alba
senza tramonto, il presente mi travolge;
se non s’innesta in me il bene operoso
rimango oscurato dal buio del male.

Cristo si avvicina al mio peregrinare
e mi sussurra discretamente:
