word of the Lord.

Finally the sky in our hands,
opened for us by the Father:
Firstborn is already inhabited by the Blessed Mother at his side.
Paradiso ritrovato, Eden antico,
giardino fiorito per un riposo d’incanto;
pienezza di vita, eternità beata,
nuovo universo, solidamente fondato.
Tutta la storia freme nel lungo travaglio
dei secoli, alla ricerca del bene eterno,
smarrito nel buio del tempo, per ritrovare
se stessa e dare sensi nuovi alla vita.
Attese frustrate dalle menzogne della storia,
arrembaggio solitario per scalare il cielo,
dottrine filosofiche, teorie cosmiche,
mille teorie per cercare la stessa cosa.
Dov’è la via della speranza per uscire
dall’assurdo vizioso della nostra vita?
Esiste uno spiraglio di luce e di pace

The door of life opens from within, a loving hand
knocks insistently,

Maria, umile ancella del Signore,
diventa oggi testimonianza e certezza
per noi che il cielo è per coloro che, mossi
dallo Spirito, generano come lei il Verbo.
Maria beata, Assunta in cielo,
mostra ai credenti la via della vita;
aiutaci a percorrere con te la strada,
per imparare, come te, a vivere di fede.
Accendi in noi ardenti desideri celesti,
donaci di amare tuo Figlio e di portarlo
nel cuore fin da quaggiù, per trovare
con te la porta del cielo preparato per noi.
